Well I’m not really one for computer games except for Larry the Lounge Suit Lizard on the pc and Tetris on the Gamboy in th 90’s. Anyway, my son Daniel (who works in the Computer Games Industry) sent me a link to the Lionhead Milo Project a new interactive (but interactive like you’ve never ever known before) computer game for the xBox that was unveiled at E3 2009.

As I said before, I’m not really one for computer games but this just blew me away.

In the demo, Milo is a young computer animated boy who interacts with Claire from Lionhead Milo Project Natal. She is able to see the emotion on his face and he is able to detect her tonality and emotion.

Natal is the interface that allows for this interaction. Based on what I saw in the demo Natal is incredibly impressive.

There is a point in the demo where Claire draws a fish and then the Lionhead Project Natal (interface) scans the image and Milo takes about it. Brilliant.

This really is the shape of things to come in the computer games industry.

Well done Lionhead Milo Project Netal for pushing the envelope and showing us what can be achieved.
