Why, because you don’t need to go there to do your tweeting.

Were just happy running programs like Tweet deck where you can see all your tweets, all the people you’re following, groups, mentions, searches and much more all on 1 screen.

Anyway, I happened to go to the home page for Twitter and was pleasantly surprised at the changes they have made.

Twitter have now made it possible to see the most popular tweets by the minute by the hour and by the day.

Have a look at the video to see what I’m talking about.

According to Dr. Birgit Wolz, a psychotherapist, author and “cinema therapist” based in Oakland, Calif., the painful emotions released by sad movies often are helpful. “Sad movies make us feel alive because of catharsis,” Wolz says. ….. One evening, when I was in high school, I went to the movies with my mother to see “Love Story.” I started getting weepy about halfway through the movie.
As a newly married and pregnant psychotherapist, I needed to find a way to make money yet have flexibility. I didn’t want to have to go into New York City everyday and see clients all day. So I thought of GirlShrink as an online service …

Marketing your practice – Creating a good first impression

With no voice mail you are throwing money away marketing yourself. More often than not people look for an excuse not to do something. They may have considered calling a psychotherapist for relationship help or a nutritionist for obesity …

Therapist marketing using Google Maps

A Psychotherapist who advertises with GoToSee added a listing to Google’s Local Business Centre for their service of ‘Psychotherapy’ in the location of ‘Cockfosters’. When typing the search terms ‘psychotherapy cockfosters’ (which would …

When I initial proposed out on the web as a psychotherapist, I had no thought which I was perplexing to dig a jam-packed niche – attribute advice. I only got proposed and let the chips tumble where they may. …

Question: “Is your therapy website delivering new clients?”

Answer: No

OK I know I can’t speak for everyone, but the dozens of therapist I’m in touch with each week who are not part of my Mentoring and Coaching Club tell me that they get very few visitors to their websites and hardly ever get a new client directly from their site.

I’m here to tell you that It’s Not Your Fault.

You see we all start out believing that all we need to do to get more clients is to put up a website and they will come running.

If only this was the case.

Creating a website is only part of the equation.

As I’ve eluded to before there is a process to having a successfull website that attracts clients looking for your services and it goes like this:-

Research the keywords that people are typing into Google to find the services you have to offer.

Create a web page for each of these search terms.

Create content for each of these pages that expands on the main keyword.

Publish these pages.

Notify the search engines that there is new content on your website.

Bookmark these pages on the Social Bookmarking Sites.

Create Deep Backlinks to these pages.

Rinse and repeat.

Now if you don’t know how to….

Establish what keywords your should use.

How to create content for your web site.

Publish these new pages.

Notify the search engines.

Bookmark your pages on the Social Bookmarking Sites.

Create Deep Backlinks to your pages or why this is vital to your sites success.

Then all you need to do is to allow me to be your Coach and Mentor.

Limited time bonus

For a very limited time you can get a fully functional, all bells and whistels blog that has a $450 value for FREE, for becoming a member of my Coaching and Mentoring Program. And better still, it’s yours to keep even if you decide that the club is not for you.

Grab your place right now before they all go.

Regards

Gary

I really hope that everyone reading this post is on page 1 of Google.

Somehow, I don’t believe that this is the case.

Anyone yes anyone can get on page 1 of Google.

All you need to do is to bid more than anyone else for a given search term lets say “Long Beach Psychotherapist” and the ad that you created for your services will appear on the right hand side of the organic results as a Google Adwords advertisement.

It couldn’t be easier.

The good side is that you only pay Google when someone clicks on your ad. The bad side might be that even though you are getting traffic to your site, those potential clients are not becoming paid clients and the cost of those clicks may be prohibitive.

So how do you get over this problem?

Many people make the mistake of sending the clicks they get from Google Adwords to their home page which may not reflect the keyword phrase that the prospect typed into Google.

This is a massive mistake as you should be sending prospects to whats known as a “Landing Page” which reflects and expands on the keyword phrase that the prospect entered to get to your page.

The flow should be something like this:-

1. Potential Client types in “Long Beach Psychotherapist” into their Google browser.

2. The search results are displayed and on the right hand side the potential client sees your ad that says “Long Beach Therapist”

3. They then click on your advert as it matches what they’re looking for.

4. The page that they’re taken to might have a page heading that says “Long Beach Psychotherapist” and the rest of the information displayed on that page should expand on that phrase.

If you do this then your quality score with Google will be improved which will mean that you end up paying less for your clicks.

Now even though you got a potential client to come to your site, you have to give them a reason to engage with you.

Remember, people buy people so they’re looking to see what you’re like and what you can do to help them eradicate their issues and problems.

I’ll expand more on this in the next post.

Enjoy

Gary

Now a “Landing Page” is a page on your blog/website that contains the keyword phrase that the potential client typed into Google and then clicked on your ad.

where the text and information on that page includes the keywords that the

We are now in the 3rd week of creating FREE tips for therapists to use to attract new clients to their therapy business.

So what have we achieved in these 3 weeks in terms of the visibility of GaryGraye.com

In the last week alone the content that we’ve created has produced dozens of page 1 listings on Google.

This has been mostly due to promoting our blog posts using social bookmarking software such as Clipmarks and Jumptags.

Watch the video and I’ll show you some of the successes.

Use this stuff ………. IT WORKS!

Till next time

Gary
