The #2 reason why therapists fail online follows on from the previous blog post from a couple of weeks ago that was entitled “#1 Reason Why Therapists Fail Online”

In the #1 reason I discussed how it was imperative that you research your keywords to ensure that you find the types of keywords that potential therapy clients are searching for before you start to write any content for your blog. You can then use these keyword phrases and sprinkle them throughout your copy.

OK so lets get to it. The #2 reason why therapist fail online is because they do not promote their content.

You can have the best content in the world but it is meaningless if nobody knows about it.

As I’ve outlined many times before throughout this blog, if you’re a therapist and you have a website but don’t have a blog then you’re missing out big time.

If you have a blog then you are probably aware that every time you create and publish a new post then that post is pinged to many search engines saying to them that there is new content at your blog.

Now that’s a good start but it’s certainly not enough.

The next stage in the process should be to promote your new blog posts to as many social media and social bookmarking sites as you can. And then some.
