Isn’t it a great feeling when you help a therapy client and show them a path to help them turn their life around?
We should hold onto this feeling and really anchor it into ourselves.
That said, if we’re not seeing enough clients to cover our overheads then our therapy practice is going to go down the pan.
In spite of this, I’m amazed at the number of therapist I’m in touch with who don’t have a clear written plan for marketing their therapy business.
We all need to know where we’re going with our business and to that end we need a vision and we need a strategy to support that vision.
Why not start right now to decide and map out how you want your business to grow over the next month, and each and every month for the next 12 months.
What do you want your therapy business to be, how many clients are you going to attract, how are you going to attract those clients.
Are you going to use offline methods for attracting clients such as calling professionals who can refer clients to you?
Are you going to go to use online methods such as Pay Per Click (PPC) marketing using Google, Yahoo or Bing?
Are you going to partner with other professionals and share resources.
Whatever it is, you need to have a plan and take action.
There are 4 simple steps to ensure your success in attracting new clients:-
1. Decide what you are going to do to attract new clients
2. Take action
3. Check to see if it’s working
4. If it’s not working, change your action
That’s it for now
